After the service at St Mary's Church in Welwyn and accompanied by a church choir and bells, the newlyweds stepped into a friend's Bentley to be chauffeured to their reception at Sandridgebury Farm.
There they indulged in afternoon tea complete with fresh cucumber sandwiches and cakes made especially by the bride for the occasion.
The couple had enjoyed their first date at a busy funfair, where overcrowding stopped them from riding the dodgems. For that reason they decided to include the ride in the celebrations, bringing much delight to guests old and young!
With one too many turns on the fairground attraction and an excess of candy floss, the couple and their party were pleased to spend the next day relaxing with a picnic.
Following that Mr and Mrs Turner went off to honeymoon at chef Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons hotel in Oxfordshire.
