Neil and Helen Deakin married in the beautifully located St Werburgh Church in Wembury, Plymouth. The church is located on a cliff top, with a spectacular view overlooking the sea. After the ceremony the wedding party moved on to Langdon Court Hotel for the reception. Neil, Helen and their guests had exclusive use of the venue, with all their friends and family also staying at the hotel. Helen said it truly was a "weekend of celebration". The bride wore a stunning La Sposa Detalle dress in ivory, with a fitted bodice and skirt with a sensational train. She completed the look with her hair up and a classic veil.

Helen said of her choices: "I wanted to create a simple but elegant look." Despite their fabulous day, the couple chose to take a limited number of photos due to Helen having been involved in a road accident just weeks before, resulting in visible bruising and injuries. So the couple donned their wedding attire once more after the occasion and posed for a series of shots taken by Helen’s brother. Their favourite of the photos is of the pair with the bride in her dress, accessorised with wellies, and their dog Kipper also featuring.
