The flower-filled wedding of Rosie Grimshaw and Laith Malhas

HELLO! Online

readers Rosie Grimshaw and Laith Malhas met as medical students during their third year at university, but it wasn't until their fifth and final year that love blossomed when they re-met on a university ski trip at Val Thorens."Four years later, just after our anniversary, Laith booked another skiing holiday to Val Thorens over Valentine's Day," said Rosie. "He proposed on Plein Sud slope on the actual day."Although I wanted to get married as soon as possible he managed to calm me down long enough to see sense and we started looking at venues."

Growing up, the bride had visited Boconnoc House in Cornwall for the annual flower show, and instantly fell in love with it again when she was hunting for venues."I think the best bit of the wedding, if there can be a best bit, was the moment when the best men opened the doors of the ceremony room," recalled Rosie, looking back on her wedding day."According to my husband, the sunlight streamed in and then everyone saw me and the car and the flowers and the bridesmaids, and everyone gasped really loudly. It was amazing."
