Manchester United's Morgan Schneiderlin proposes to girlfriend on holiday

Morgan Schneiderlin and his girlfriend Camille Sold were enjoying a romantic break in the South of France when the Manchester United midfielder decided to give her the surprise of her life. The footballer treated Camille, who he met last year, to a candlelit dinner overlooking the Mediterranean before popping the question on Thursday.

Morgan popped the question to Camille

The bride-to-be shared her delight on social media after saying "yes." She wrote: "An amazing evening, in an incredible place just us and the sound of the waves... Can't describe my feeling... No words, it was just unreal... I feel like the luckiest woman Si fière de devenir ta femme... Je t'aime #love#amour#reallove#happiness#engagmentring#29mars2016#infinity#8."

Morgan and Camille, 21, are seen gazing lovingly at each other as they raise a glass of bubbly to celebrate their special moment. The beautiful blonde rocked a fitted red dress – the colour of her man's team.

The 21-year-old often supports her man at his matches

Camille, who works at the Adidas store in Manchester, often supports her French beau at his big games. "Always support my babe even if he has big ears on this scarf #derby#cityvsunited#manutd#victory#proud," she wrote alongside the snap of Morgan's football scarf.

The student, who has just finished her exams at the University of Cambridge, is no stranger to the spotlight. In 2012, she starred in French reality TV series Koh-Lanta, which showed contestants completing physical challenges. Camille, who was 18 at the time, was eliminated from the show after 31 days.

The happy couple went to see Adele in conert

The pair often share photos of their romantic dates on social media. Most recently, they enjoyed watching Adele in concert with Morgan posting a snap of the evening and the caption: "Had a great time tonight in @adele concert with my love . Amazing voice #Repost @camille__8 with @repostapp. A M A Z I N G Thanks my Love #Adeleconcert."

The star made his debut for Manchester United in August 2015, moving to Old Trafford from Southampton for £25million the month before.
