Marc and Deborah celebrate their 'Greatest Day' in County Durham

Share this:

Despite hailing from the same small village and having mutual friends, Marc and Deborah's paths hadn't crossed until cyber-cupid, Facebook, suggested they become 'friends'. They eventually met up in Nottingham in the summer of 2009, and a year later Marc romantically proposed to Deborah at home. They were enjoying a picnic of champagne and strawberries when Marc got down on one knee and produced a diamond sparkler. Without the slightest hesitation, Deborah accepted and they set about arranging their wedding for the next summer.

Marc and Deborah’s nuptials took place in St Mary Magdalene's church in a small County Durham village last year. Bride Deborah walked down the aisle to Take That's Greatest Day which stirred emotion amongst guests in the pews. Their reception took place in a marquee at the Hardwick Hall Hotel, complete with a black and white theme for the 150 honoured guests who gathered to celebrate their love.

The couple were thrilled with the speeches, enjoyed posing for photographs and danced to Take That's Hello for their first dance. With their wedding day having run smoothly the new Mr and Mrs Hindson jetted off to Playa del Cura in Gran Canaria for a week-long honeymoon. They were spoilt with champagne and goodies throughout their stay at the quiet resort.

Deborah told HELLO! Online that they spent their stay "enjoying the beginning of the next chapter of our lives together". And that's not the only exciting news for Marc and Deborah – the couple are expecting their first child together this autumn.
