Helen Pearson is the 'happiest girl alive' following wedding

Actress Helen Pearson played the beautiful bride on her wedding day, and delighted fans when she took to Twitter to share a series of snaps from the big day.The Hollyoaks star, who has played Frankie Osbourne on the soap since 2002, showed her excitement at tying the knot with her fiancé and becoming Mrs Faulkner. "So we got married!!! I am the happiest girl alive," she tweeted, alongside a photo of her walking hand-in-hand with her husband. "Honeymoon is rather cool too #mrsfaulkner". 

Helen, 53, looked radiant in a strapless white gown and accessorised with pearls earrings and a classic one-strand pearl necklace. She tied her hair up in a bun and pinned her blonde locks back with a matching pearl head piece. "So now I am Mrs Faulkner and the happiest girl on the planet. Thank you to all my lovely friends for the best day of my life #marriedgirl," she wrote later on in the day.

Helen showed just how much fun she was having throughout the celebrations at her country wedding. In one photo, the soap star strikes a dramatic pose and shows off her glittery wellies before heading out for some outdoor shots.

Helen enjoys a close relationship with her husband's family and posted a series of photos that showed her bonding with her new relatives. "My father in law throwing confetti#driedrosepetals," wrote Helen, alongside a photo of her being showered with petals by her father-in-law and the duo laughing away. She then followed it up with another post and touching snap, writing, "My gorgeous husband and my fabulous step daughter. "After her nuptials, the new Mrs Faulkner received a flurry of congratulations from her Hollyoaks co-stars.

"Massive congratulations to the coolest gran I know! @damehpearson is officially Mrs Faulkner! You look BEATIFUL!" wrote Jazmine Franks, who plays Helen's granddaughter Esther Bloom in the show."@damehpearson congrats beautiful lady! Cant wait to see the pics! It's gonna be so weird on set now you're married and won't swear and stuff," posted Anna Passey, who plays Sienna Blake.
