Celebrity engagements: couples who got engaged over the holidays

The American Horror Story co-stars, who have been dating since 2012, got engaged over the festive period. Evan is said to have popped the question with a pink gold and diamond ring, while the young couple were in New York City.

The news comes just six months after Emma, 22, was arrested for reportedly attacking her beau, 26, in a Montreal hotel last July. The rising star allegedly left Evan with a bloody nose after an incident of "domestic violence" but was not charged after her boyfriend dropped charges.

"Emma is very dramatic, she gets wound up during arguments," a source told Us Weekly of the couple's relationship. "When they are good, they are crazy in love."

TJ Thyne and Leah Park

The Bones actor proposed to his model fiancé on 30 December, outside a German castle.

TJ documented the fairytale experience on Instagram, with romantic photos of him on bended knee and Leah clasping her hands to her face.

"Our walk…our trail," wrote TJ. "SHE SAID YES!!!"

The TOWIE star got a sweet proposal on Christmas Day, with her partner proposing by placing the huge teardrop diamond ring in a Christmas pudding.

Olivia got engaged to her German model boyfriend on New Year's Eve during a holiday in St Bart's, with Johannes posting a video on Instagram to share the happy news.

"Happy New Year to everybody and this is how we celebrate it: OP said Y E S," Johannes captioned the video of his fiancée walking ahead of him through the idyllic each resort before turning round and flashing her new engagement ring.

This will be Robin's third trip down the aisle, and the actress is said to be "excited" about the nuptials.

"Everyone is talking about it," a friend of the couple told the Mail Online. "We were sort of expecting it but it is still great news."
