Eva Longoria and Jose Antonio Baston will tie the knot this weekend in Mexico, after nearly three years together. The Desperate Housewives star and her partner will say 'I do' on Saturday 21 May in an intimate and private ceremony, attended by family and close friends. The bride and groom have gone out of their way to keep details of their big day under wraps, although it is thought that Eva will walk down the aisle in a wedding gown designed for her by close friend Victoria Beckham.

Eva, 41, and TV executive Jose got engaged five months ago, during a December break in Dubai. The 47-year-old popped the question to his actress love with a stunning ruby and diamond engagement ring – "It was such a surprise!" Eva admitted during an interview on the Today Show in January. "He's amazing, he's gorgeous and really the kindest human being I've ever met. "She later told Us Weekly that she and Jose have "been calling each other husband and wife for a while", and revealed that they wanted to celebrate with a "big fat Mexican wedding".

It's been a busy week for Eva, who was in Cannes last week making a number of glamorous appearances at the film festival. She was spotted returning to LA on Saturday, in time to make the final preparations ahead of her destination wedding. This will the star's third marriage. She was previously married to General Hospital actor Tyler Christopher from 2002 until 2004, and tied the knot with NBA star Tony Parker in Paris in 2007, although the pair split in 2010. Jose, meanwhile, has three children from his first marriage.

Eva has said that she has learned a lot from her previous marriages. "Once you realise a wedding isn't a marriage, then you can learn to appreciate it a lot more, and it lessens the expectations when you've gone through it," she explained earlier this year.
