Victoria Beckham proved that she's an old hand at getting ahead in the glamour stakes when she over-shadowed a roll-call of stars at the glittering Swarovski Fashion Rocks event on Monday.

The singer-turned-designer was joined by Mariah Carey and the Osbournes at the lavish bash in Monaco, where guests were serenaded by some of the top names in music. The 31-year-old turned heads by arriving at the charity extravaganza in a body-skimming aqua creation by pal Roberto Cavalli, accessorized with 15,000 of costume jewellery.

No doubt the glamorous affair was inspired by the pair's summer holiday together on the fashion maestro's yacht in the Med. "I'm really excited to be here and I love my dress," said Victoria. "It's been a bit of a mad rush to get ready. But I'm here and that's the main thing."

Guests at the charity bash, which was presided over by Prince Albert of Monaco, were treated to a unique fusion of music and fashion, with leading designers showing off their creations. Meanwhile the line-up of recording talent was led by R'n'B star Craig David and rocker Jon Bon Jovi - who was later seen hobnobbing with Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne.

Also mingling was Victoria's former Spice Girl band mate Emma Bunton. The golden-haired beauty, who'd opted for a discreet LBD with a golden sash, was accompanied by ex-Damage singer Jade, her on-off love of six years.

Many of the high-profile invitees may have struggled to get to the event, as festivities the previous day went on into the early hours. Revellers downed gallons of champagne on board a yacht moored in Monaco harbour until well past midnight, before dancing the night away at the exclusive nightclub Jimmy'z.
