Showbiz stars from Britain and the US were swept away on a wave of Irish charm at the weekend. Big names from both sides of the Atlantic jetted into the Emerald Isle when the country's homegrown talents gathered together for the annual Film and Television Awards. Local girl Andrea Corr, who originally hails from the town of Dundalk, created quite an impression on fans gathered outside the RDS auditorium with her tiered pink creation, while Californian-born model Caprice likewise made an unforgettable entrance, with an escort of eight blonde bombshells accompanying her up the red carpet.
The OC leading lady Mischa Barton was meanwhile showing off a sexy new take on Celtic cool with a daringly low-cut number in green velvet. But she was by no means the only famous face turning heads in the Irish capital, with Coronation Street's Sally Lindsay and Oscar winner Vanessa Redgrave likewise in attendance for the event.
Among the big winners on the night were Northern Ireland's Liam Neeson, who was named best actor for his portrayal of Dr Alfred Kinsey in the eponymous biopic, and acclaimed filmmaker Terry George, who took home the best director gong for Hotel Rwanda.
