After the high drama of the Champions League final, hunky Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo found the perfect way to unwind. The Portuguese footballer put his team's defeat at the hands of Spanish team FC Barcelona behind him with a sunshine break in Sardinia, one of his favourite holiday destinations.
And with his tanned and toned bod displayed in a pair of white swim shorts 24-year-old Cristiano - who's worth an estimated £70 million - was as eyecatching as the sunning seascape which surrounded him as he frolicked in the azure waters of Porto Cervo.
Located on the north-western tip of the Italian island, Porto Cervo is one of the island's most upmarket destinations and its exciting nightlife and top-class yachting facilities make it a popular choice with the jet-set, including Nicole Kidman and Kate Moss.
Sardinia holds special significance to Cristiano, who is currently single, as it's the place he cemented his short romance with Spanish model Nereida Gallardo. They split last summer after five months together.
