As one of the highlights of the capital's social season, the launch of London's Royal Academy of Arts summer exhibition is guaranteed to draw some of the UK's best known faces. This year was no exception with Silent Witness actress Emila Fox and interior design whiz Laurence Llewelyn Bowen both among the guests at the pre-exhibition party.
Chic in a little black dress, Emilia, whose three-year marriage to husband Jared Harris - the son of screen giant Richard Harris - ended earlier this year, arrived on the arm of her new man – filmmaker-turned-charity worker Jeremy Gilley.
Looking equally fab in a summery, waist-cinching number which showed off to perfection her stunning new figure was Laurence's wife Jackie. The mum of two has lost five stone over recent months and was clearly revelling in the opportunity to emphasise her slim-line waist in a curve-hugging pink zebra-print dress. The evening event also gave best friends Agyness Deyn and Henry Holland the chance to spend some time together following the model's move to New York. The platinum-haired Mancunian was displaying her inimitable sense of style in a futuristic ensemble as she and her designer pal - who lives in Primrose Hill, caught up.Other celebrities at the preview of the exhibition, which showcases the work of unknown artists alongside those of established names, included Kirsty Gallagher, Stella McCartney and her husband Alasdhair Willis, Yasmin Le Bon and artist Tracey Emin.
The open exhibition takes place every summer; this year it focuses around the theme of 'Making Space' and runs from June 8 to August 16.
