'Kate went against everything we said we'd do,' says Peter after TV interview

hellomagazine.com Peter Andre has expanded on his admission that he is "deeply disappointed" by estranged wife Katie Price's decision to talk publicly about losing their unborn baby.

The Mysterious Girl singer said Monday: "By revealing all about the baby we lost, Kate went against everything we said we'd never do.

"The miscarriage was a devastating time for us both, but I strongly believe it should have remained private. Unfortunately what Kate says is out of my control."

In Katie's ITV chat with Piers Morgan, the 31-year-old wept as she spoke of the miscarriage she suffered weeks before the end of her marriage. During a routine scan, doctors couldn't find a heartbeat, she said.

Writing in his weekly magazine column, Peter said he hadn't intended to watch the interview, as "I don't care what she says".

But he ended up tuning in with his mother Thea and brother Mike, as he wanted to see what the Brighton-born model – aka Jordan – would say about their family.

Pete also vowed to remain celibate for the next few months. He said: "I'm determined to see it out. I think it's the most honourable thing to do while going through a break-up."

And he dismissed reports of a romance with former Celebrity Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton. "Absolutely not. I'm still hurting over what has happened in the last few months," said the pop star.
