Donald Trump's eligible daughter Ivanka is officially off the market. The socialite heiress happily announced her interntion to wed her love of two years Jared Kushner on her Twitter page on Thursday.
"I got engaged last night," the 27-year-old tweeted. "Truly the happiest day of my life."
Ivanka and 28-year-old Jared, the owner of the New York Observer, both come from families who have made their fortune in real estate.
And recently speaking in a magazine interview, Ivanka – the executive vice president of development and acquisitions at the Trump organisation - said she was happy to be in a romance with somebody who shares her lifestyle.
"Jared and I are very similar in that we're very ambitious. That’s what makes it so amazing to be in a relationship with someone who is supportive of that," the New York-born daughter of Donald and Ivana Trump said.
It seems her 63-year-old father is just as pleased about his soon-to-be son-in-law. "I'm very happy about it," the Apprentice star has said. "They make a magnificent couple."
Ivana recently revealed she is studying to convert to Judaism for her fiance.
