There were rumours that the romance between Joe Calzaghe and Kristina Rihanoff could be cooling when the couple broke their Saturday night tradition of going out together following their dance show. But the Strictly Come Dancing pair are very much still in step – and seemingly ready to move their relationship up-tempo.The boxing champ and his blonde dance partner made their red carpet debut as a couple attending the Pride of Britain awards. It was a different story on Saturday when Joe went out with a group of friends while Kristina dressed up in school uniform to attend a novelty club night School Disco. But clearly reports Kristina had "deserted" Joe after they scored just 19 out of 40 for their latest routine were wide of the mark. Other couples at the ceremony, honouring ordinary people who inspire others with their extraordinary qualities, included Gary Lineker and his glam wife Danielle Bux. Looking particularly elegant in a long sleeved, sequinned mini-dress was former Spice girl Melanie Brown – who was back in the UK from LA with husband Stephen Belafonte. Some of the inspiring stories of winners on the night included little Kelsey Deacon, who at the age of four leapt into a scalding bath to drag her baby sister to safety. And there was 23-year-old Kristin Hallenga, whose response to having breast cancer has been to tour music festivals with an awareness campaign. Mel and former band mate Emma Bunton, who presented Kristin with her award, told her: "You represent true Girl Power".
