Black may be this season's on trend shade, but Geri Halliwell isn't letting that influence her style choices.

The former Spice Girl stood out from the crowd in a sizzling hot pink Herve Leger bandage dress as she arrived at an awards ceremony honouring Britain's brave servicemen and women.

Mum-of-one Geri, who finished the look with an enormous white faux fur stole, brought along her dashing financier beau Henry Beckwith and his brother Giles to the bash, organised by the Sun newspaper.

They joined Princes Harry and William, who are both members of the Armed Forces, and are training to become helicopter pilots.

William told army winners and attendees: "I count it as a huge privilege and an honour to wear the same uniform as you."

Others present at London's Imperial War Museum included Geri's former bandmate Emma Bunton and TV beauty Myleene Klass, both of whom opted for gowns in shades of midnight black.

There was also a special performance from X Factor winner Joe McElderry, who sang his debut single The Climb.
