Eva Longoria Parker and her husband decided to transform themselves into another famous couple over the Christmas holidays.
The striking Desperate Housewives actress and her sport star spouse became Grease’s Danny and Sandy for a day – as famously portrayed by John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John in the 1978 film – to help launch a new competition.
With the help of a short blonde wig, a leather jacket and some willing friends, the pair recreated the movie’s iconic Summer Nights scene, lip-synching along to the song while showing off some Grease-inspired dance moves.
And Eva, 34, and Belgium-born Tony, 27, are hoping their efforts will inspire their fans, who they have invited to dress up and record a video parodying their own favourite musical scenes.
The couple will then choose a winner who will fly to San Antonio in Texas to watch Tony in action with his team, the San Antonio Spurs.
Introducing the clip on his official website, the French star says: “My wife and I we did a little video. Now it’s your job to do the best video you can.”
“It has to be a comedy, you have to wear a costume, and you have to do a lip-sync.”
