She's just 19 years old but Emma Watson has some wizard earning power. The Harry Potter star has beat some of Hollywood's most established actresses to the title of highest earning female screen star of 2009.
In the same year she started university, Emma is said to have taken home an impressive £20 million, putting her ahead of the likes of Cameron Diaz and Angelina Jolie.
According to Vanity Fair's table of top earners, she is placed at number 14 – and is the youngest person, male or female, to appear in the list.
The magazine says her pay packet for appearing in the final two parts of the boy wizard series - The Deathly Hallows I and II, was £10 million for each film.
Emma's nearest rivals were Sarah Jessica Parker and Grey's Anatomy actress Katherine Heigel, who banked £15 million each, followed Reese Witherspoon and Angelina, who earned £13 million a piece.
Emma's co-star Daniel Radcliffe did even better. His earnings were calculated at £26 million, and he was put at number 6 on the list. With the top five slots all being occupied by directors, the 20-year-old was the highest paid actor.
Topping the list was director Michael Bay, the man behind the Transformers films. He was said to have earned £78 million in 2009, putting Steven Spielberg into second with £53.1 million
