She may be a contented and busy mum-of-six, but Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie hasn't traded in the daredevil side of her personality just yet.
In fact she's more likely to get stuck into jumping off buildings, high speed car chases and the like – at work anyway – as it gives her more kudos in the eyes of her little ones.
"The funny thing about having children is that now I am twice as motivated to do a cool stunt because my kids will like it," the actress tells US publication Entertainment Weekly.
Perfect then that her new film Salt called for a series of high-octane stunts – including jumping from a moving car and dangling from the side of a building, ten stories up.
The director of the thriller – in which Angelina plays a CIA agent on the run – says she showed no qualms about getting stuck into the tricky and potentially dangerous manoeuvres.
She doesn't have to do it," said Philip Noyce. "But she has absolutely no fear. Usually when an actor becomes more and more successful, they play it safe."
Angelina also revealed she would love to get back in front of the camera with partner Brad Pitt – her Mr & Mrs Smith co-star. If she can find something suitable, that is.
"I love working with him," she says. "He's my favourite actor to work with ... The only complicated thing is to find the right project."
