Twenty five years have gone by since Jane Fonda released her very first exercise video.
And now, incredibly, at the grand old age of 72, the American actress is back with a brand new fitness DVD.
In November, Jane's latest workouts will be made available – one featuring aerobics titled Walk Out, and a second based around weights called Fit & Strong.
They are targeted at the baby boomer generation and, according to the actress, "People who think they are too old and too unfit to start again."
There is certainly no one better placed to inspire than Jane, who remains one of Hollywood's most elegant, and age defying stars.
The Oscar winner, who got a new hip in 2005 and has also had knee replacement surgery, looks incredible in the pictures on the cover of her DVDs.
Jane, who recently admitted to a little cosmetic work, has said she returned to fitness programmes because she thought that the industry was neglecting the older generation. She has promised to "help seniors lose weight and build strength through low impact exercise."
"There is an endless list of good things that can happen to you if you exercise," she said earlier this year. It's important that people my age keep moving."
And the secret to Jane's timeless appearance? "If I don’t stay active my body stops functioning," she said. "I'm careful about how I eat. I stay active. I walk a lot. I have good genes – and money!"
