Victoria and David Beckham are expecting their fourth child together.
The 'delighted' couple will welcome the new addition to their family this summer, it has been confirmed.
Writing on his Facebook page, football ace David told fans: "I've got some great news to tell you all.
"Victoria and I are expecting our fourth child this summer. The boys are very excited about the arrival of a new brother or sister."
As a mum to three sons, - Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight, and five-year-old Cruz - 36-year-old Victoria has spoken in the past of her desire to have a little girl.
But according to close friends, the couple, who wed in 1999, have decided not to find out the sex of the baby before it is born.
Victoria and David flew back to Britain on Saturday where they broke the news to friends and family at their Hertfordshire home after being given the all-clear by doctors.
It is understood the singer-turned-fashion designer is just over three months pregnant.
Messages of congratulations are already pouring in for the pair. Writing on her Twitter page, Kylie Minogue wrote: "WOW…congratulations to Victoria Beckham and David…fourth child on the way."
TV presenter Amanda Holden, currently expecting her second baby, added: "Great news that the Beckhams are expecting their fourth child. Hope they get a pink one."
David and Victoria are staying in Britain until the end of February as she prepares her latest collection for London and New York fashion weeks.
He will begin training with Tottenham Hotspurs before returning to the US for the start of the football season there.
