Congratulations are in order for Canadian rocker Bryan Adams.
He became a father for the first time last month when his personal assistant Alicia Grimaldi welcomed a little girl.
"I'm really proud to announce on 22 April, Mirabella Bunny was born," Bryan confirmed in a statement to People magazine.
"She arrived like all good Easter bunnies on Good Friday. Mother and baby are both well and happy. Thank you in advance for your kind thoughts and wishes."
Bryan, 51, announced the happy news of 31-year-old Alicia's pregnancy back in March.
"She helped me start my foundation years ago, and it looks like she'll be running the family now," he said.
Britain-born Alicia started working for the Summer of 69 singer in 2004 after graduating from Cambridge University.
She is the daughter of retired surgeon, Marquis Peter Martin Beaufort Grimaldi – her mother is titled Marquesa Grimaldi, and, according to the Daily Mail, Alicia and her sisters are listed in Burke's Peerage.
"It will be our first grandchild and of course we are delighted for Alicia and Bryan," Mr Grimaldi - also Deputy Lord Lieutenant of the Isle of Wight - said of the pregnancy news.
"I have met Bryan many, many times. He obviously has a huge fan club, me included. They are both very excited."
Meanwhile, Bryan will have to put his nappy-changing duties on hold next month – he is set to resume his world tour with concerts throughout Europe and a tour of Britain in the autumn.
