The show must go on: Katy puts marriage split behind her with high energy gig

If Katy Perry is feeling the strain after the collapse of her marriage to Russell Brand, she certainly wasn't showing it this week.

The pop star put on a confident and slick show in Indonesia, belting out her hits in an array of colourful outfits.

She had rewound time with her hair colour, going back to her tried and tested raven locks.

Among the set list was Firework, a song inspired by her estranged husband.

Katy's concert marked one of the first public outings since the announcement Russell has filed for divorce.

She cancelled a appearance at the People's Choice Awards, at which she named winner in five categories.

Friends say Katy is trying to keep herself busy and is happy to be half away across the world.

"She seems happy to be in Jakarta and she's just focused on her music," a source tells website

"She wants to work. It’s what makes her most happy. I think she's relieved to be away from all of this."

Sources close Russell, who is currently in LA, have denied that he will reveal details of the couple's marriage and breakup in a third autobiography.

"There are no plans for a third book," says a friend.
