Cheryl Cole's stunning red gown turns head in Cannes

Cheryl Cole turned heads at the Cannes Film Festival in a show-stopping red gown. Former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl stepped out at screening of Jimmy P. Psychotherapy of Plains Indian in a stunning lace dress, covered in beads.

Cheryl completed her red carpet outfit by wearing her brunette locks in a chic high volume plait that showed off the dress' low back. Sequins covering the 29-year-old's gown matched her large ring and elegant stud earrings.

"Me and my twin sister @CherylCole at Cannes!" tweeted Eva Longoria, who, like Cheryl, is in at the French festival as part of her involvement with cosmetic brand L'Oreal.

"Talking about L'Oreal all day," Cheryl posted along with a photo of herself being interviewed. "And they call this a job?? I'm a lucky girl!! #Cannes2013."

Also present at the premiere of director Arnaud Desplechin's latest venture were Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Jane Fonda and British actor, Sam Caflin.

The film's stars, Gina Mckee and Benicio Del Toro, also made their way to the screening.
