Millie Mackintosh looks after Professor Green following his car accident

Millie Mackintosh has been taking care of her rapper fiancé Professor Green after the car accident he suffered on Friday night.

"Thank you for all the lovely messages," tweeted Millie to the fans that had sent the newly engaged couple well wishes. "Teddy Edward and I are on the night shift x" she added with a photo of Professor Green in a hospital with a teddy bear by his side.

"Think im going to have to get a nurse outfit and a bell... #dotingwifey," said Millie as she prepared to comfort her injured husband-to-be.

But Professor Green's grandmother had already covered the bell idea as the City of Gold star posted a photograph of a bell reading "ring for a drink" with the comment "
Thanks nan! @camillamackintosh will be hearing a lot of this!"

Professor Green, whose real name is Stephen Manderson, had been on his way to play a gig at Hartpury College in Gloucestershire when his leg was crushed as the result of being trapped between two Mercedes Benz vehicles.

Shortly after the accident occured, Professor Green posted two photos of himself with the emergency crew that took him to hospital, sending his apologies to the students that had been looking forward to his gig.

Fellow London rapper Wreth 32 stepped in to cover the gig at the last minute.

"Not ideal. Someone run me over," wrote the singer on his Instagram account with the image of himself breathing nitrous oxide and oxygen. "Sorry hartpury. #notanelaborateexcuse."

Since then Professor Green has had an x-ray to assess the damage done to his left leg.

Professor Green, who proposed to Millie in March, also added that it was nearly four years to the day after he was stabbed in May 2009. The rapper was assaulted with a bottle to the neck, coincidently where he had the word 'lucky' tattooed.

His assailant was later charged and jailed for eight years.
