Marvin Humes surprises fans with new group LuvBug

Marvin Humes has revealed that he has started up a new group called LuvBug, a secret he has been keeping for an entire year. The former JLS star has formed a dance music trio with producing-and-songwriting duo White N3rd and Jon Keep. The threesome have already signed a record deal with Polydor and their first single, Resonance, is due out on 28 September.

Marvin broke the news on Wednesday morning live on Capital XTRA, who tweeted beforehand to get fans at the ready. "We speak to @MarvinHumes next and he has a big secret to reveal! K&J X," wrote the radio station.Shortly afterwards, Capital FM tweeted: "Cheeky cheeky @MarvinHumes! Releasing some HOT music and not telling us!!" Rochelle Humes' husband thanked fans for their support after their excitement had flooded in. "Thanks to everyone for all the support for @LuvBug! You can pre-order #Resonance now on @itunesmusic," he wrote.

LuvBug's first single is due to hit shelves on 28 September
The Voice host told The Sun: "A conventional solo career never interested me. JLS was such a big thing and my passion wasn't to be the front person any more. I want to write, produce and bring in different singers on projects. "I look up to Calvin Harris, Avicii and David Guetta. They are mega-stars now, even though they're DJs and producers." Marvin added: "I've literally recorded a few lines on one song. It's not about that. I&rsquove hung up my singing boots."
