and as a popular judge on The X Factor.
Sharon met Ozzy Osbourne, the lead singer of metal band Black Sabbath, at the age of 18, when her father was the band's manager. In 2002, the pair decided to let cameras into their houses with the launch of MTV show The Osbournes. The show was a smash hit with an international audience
and ran for three years.
The show, and Sharon, are credited with bringing Ozzy and Sharon back into mainstream celebrity culture and in 2004 Sharon was offered a judge spot on a new TV show called The X Factor.The X Factor,
created by Simon Cowell, was a huge ITV hit and Sharon became a popular judge for outspoken opinions. She worked on the show for four years before leaving, only to return in 2013 and win the show with Sam Bailey.
In the years between The X Factor
Sharon worked on various other showsincluding the US talk show The Talk. In 2014 it was revealed that Sharon will be a new co-host of ITV show Loose Women.
