Caroline Flack is currently competing in this year's Strictly Come Dancing

Caroline Flack first became famous in 2002 for her role on the TV sketch show Bo' Selecta, and she later honed her presenting skills on E4 Music and The Games: Live at Trackside before moving to BBC where she co-presented TMi with Sam and Mark on CBBC and BBC Two.

By the late-2000s Caroline was working on spin-off shows including Comic Relief does Fame Academy, and Big Brother's Big Mouth. She also worked on ITV show Gladiators, morning show Something for the Weekend, and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here NOW!

In 2008 it was announced that Caroline would team up with Olly Murs for The Xtra Factor. The pair were a success and worked on the show for two years, before Olly left and was replaced by Matt Richardson.

During her stint on the show she became close to Harry Styles, a member of boy band One Direction. Their relationship attracted much attention, largely because of the 14-year age gap between them.

The bubbly TV host has also spoken out about how she sought professional help to help her overcome her anxiety brought on by stress in her professional and personal life, telling the Daily Mirror: "It was all manner of things which just built up…

"Work stresses, life stresses, family stresses and relationship stresses. Talking to someone just helps as a problem shared is a problem halved. I loved it and to be honest it got me through quite a lot."

In 2014 Caroline was revealed to be one of this year's Strictly Come Dancing contestants.
