Also vying for the award are Emma Stone for Birdman, Imelda Staunton for Pride, Patricia Arquette for Boyhood and Rene Russo for Nightcrawler.
Keira's role has also landed her a Golden Globe nomination. The star is in LA for the glittering ceremony which takes place on Sunday night.
