Beyoncé sends heartfelt message to backing singer battling with cancer

Beyoncé reached out to her backing singer and dancer Tiffany Monique, who is currently battling cancer, in a special post on her personal website on Wednesday.

"We love you Tiffany," wrote the Crazy in Love singer in a heartfelt act of support for her fellow performer, followed by: "Wishing you a speedy recovery. Love, Beyoncé."

The touching message, which was accompanied by a beautiful black-and-white photograph of the talented singer and dancer – who has worked with queen Bey since 2007, as well as with the likes of Mariah Carey and Kelly Clarkson – comes just days after Tiffany updated followers on her condition.

"Fevers, a-fib, no food or water since last Tuesday, quite a bit of pain and a lot of fatigue today," Tiffany wrote on her Facebook page. "I'm finally ‘comfortable' so I'm gonna get some sleep while the going is good."

She went on to credit her boyfriend, who she snapped sitting alongside her hospital bed with a laptop on his lap, "Anyone who knows me already knows how much I love this man. Didn't know if loving him any more than I already did was even possible. It is…."

"You get to wear the stage makeup, the stage hair," she recently shared with her hometown newspaper when asked about her dream career. "When I'm at home, I'm in a ponytail and sweatpants and Uggs."
