Giovanna's latest book, Dream a Little Dream, is out next week

The 30-year-old wife of McBusted's Tom Fletcher has recently celebrated their third wedding anniversary (on May 12) and the first birthday of their adorable little boy Buzz (March 13).

"I do value Tom's opinion," says Giovanna in this week's edition of HELLO!. "Even if it's criticism. We have been together long enough not to be offended - and you can't be too precious when you are a writer – as long as it's constructive."

The everyday working life of a proven author has, she concedes, become slightly more tricky since Buzz came along.

"I had to wait until he was six months old before I got back into it," she admits. "I write a lot quicker than I used to because time is of an essence now. You have to focus. I have stopped going on Twitter and Facebook and checking out what is happening with The Kardashians because, if I am going to spend time away from Buzz, then I don't want to be wasting my time.

"If Tom is on tour, we go with him, so that we can have family time," she adds, as she did when the band where in Australia, going out with some of the other wives and girlfriends."I can write anywhere – and we have worked out quite a good routine whereby we all have breakfast together and then I will go and find a hole where I can write, whilst Tom has bonding time with Buzz during the day. Then, when it is time for the show, it is mummy time.

"I would like another one fairly soon," confides Giovanna. "I would like Buzz to have a playmate and be around the same age."

Giovanna's third novel, Dream a little Dream, is published by Penguin on 18th June.
