I'm very excited to be able to share with you my experience of the SS16 London Fashion Week in this exclusive HELLO! diary. I'll be bringing you snaps/snippets from all the shows and events I attend, bringing daily show reports and commenting on LFW style. I hope you enjoy it!
Day 1 Pre launch
1st Event Pamper Suite at W hotel Leicester Square in association with Do It In London.
I had the most gorgeous time at the Do It in London pamper suite at the beautiful W hotel in Leicester square.
It was such an informative event as representatives from various beauty brands were on hand to discuss their latest products. It's always nice when you discover new brands and I have to say I was spoilt for choice at this event as there were so many gorgeous things to try, however my fave of the day were the Rose hip oil from Pai, which is an organic skincare range favoured by A List celebrities including the beautiful Natalie Portman.
For me the amazing thing about this oil is a) the price, at £22 It's a steal when you consider that many of the big named beauty companies are charging up to £100 for similar products and b) the amount of natural active ingredients it contains.
Omegas 3,6,7 and 9 are all found in this oil which help to promote suppleness and elasticity in the skin and protect against premature ageing. Along the same lines but slightly more expensive is another face oil from Patyka which is a French skincare company based in Paris. Although also natural in its produce, Patyka also relies on aromatherapy for a somewhat more luxurious experience and so the Huile Absolue is a little gem.
It smells absolutely gorgeous and has active ingredients such as St Johns Wort, red mandarin and wheat germs to boost and nourish the skin. The oil was initially masterminded by a Hungarian Apothecary for his French Parisian wife in 1922 and apparently is the best kept beauty secret of Parisian women. Well I'm definitely intrigued as to its long term effects and I fell in love with its spa like scent and so I will definitely be trying it out for myself!
I found the event so lovely and interesting and was thrilled to walk away with some excellent tips on keeping my skin looking fresh in what's set to be an eventful fashion week! Oh and the edible treats were also gorgeous! Particularly the macaroons!!
To attend the event I wore my favourite black suede over knee boots with jeans and a sleeveless white shirt. Over knee boots are set to be everywhere this winter but to be honest I've had mine for about five years now and wear them every year, and so if you are going to purchase some this season rest assured they'll be a great investment.

2nd Event Miss You Already European Premiere at the Vue Cinema, Leicester Square.
My second event of the day was the Miss You Already European Premiere. I attended the evening with one of my best friends Nikki and we had an amazing albeit emotional time.
The film, starring Drew Barrymore and Toni Collette as best friends Jess and Millie, primarily focuses on Millie's diagnosis of breast cancer and how it not only effects her but her immediate family and friends.
It's a fantastic film and Toni Collette's portrayal of the deeply flawed Millie is outstanding. Absolutely heartbreaking in parts and so realistic you almost feel you shouldn't be privvy to such intimate moments, Millie's emotional reveal of her body post surgery to Jess was poignant and heart wrenching amplified by the silence between both actresses and had me and many others in the cinema in floods of tears.
I can totally understand why both lead females were so eager to work on this film as they were stripped back of any Hollywood sparkle and given the freedom to play very real earthy characters that at times were highly unlikeable.
I was also thrilled to see my gorgeous home of Yorkshire play quite a significant part. Funnily enough I went to see the film with one of my best friends from home Nikki and the minute we say our home county appear on the screen in all its glory we looked at each other and silently screamed....we're both very proud Yorkshire girls!!
I would highly recommend anyone see this film as alongside the drama there are a lot of laughs and even though primarily the story does revolve around Millie and Jess' relationship its a very real take on how cancer affects all our lives.
For my appearance on the red carpet I wore a customised version of the mini Natalie dress from our Enais Chapman range and teamed it with black stiletto shoes and a simple black satin bag.
