Mark Zuckerberg's sweet tribute to pregnant wife Priscilla

Mark Zuckerberg has a lot to be grateful for this Thanksgiving, and it isn’t that he is the founder of the world's biggest online social network and worth approximately $43billion. The Facebook founder has taken the time of the year to reflect on his family, now that his wife Priscilla Chan is pregnant with the couple's first child.

Mark posted a touching family photograph taken by Annie Lebowitz of him and his family – Priscilla, his parents Edward and Karen and his sister Arielle. Together with his mum, the 31-year-old has his hands tenderly placed on his wife’s burgeoning baby bump.

"Priscilla and I have a lot to be grateful for this Thanksgiving and holiday season, and family is at the top of our list. This is a big year for our little family, and we're so filled with hope for all that's ahead," wrote the dad-to-be on the Facebook post.

"Reflecting on family, I want to share this photo Annie Leibovitz captured with my parents and sister last month. I'm looking forward to many more moments with family to come. "

Mark Zuckerberg says he will take two months paternity leave

The tech mogul is setting the tone for all fathers around the globe – he recently revealed that he is planning to take two months paternity leave to bond with his daughter when she is born.

Calling it "a very personal decision", the dad-to-be explained his choice alongside a Facebook picture of his pet dog Beast alongside a yellow baby seat and pushchair, writing: "Priscilla and I are starting to get ready for our daughter's arrival. We've been picking out our favourite childhood books and toys.

"We've also been thinking about how we're going to take time off during the first months of her life. This is a very personal decision, and I've decided to take two months of paternity leave when our daughter arrives.

"Studies show that when working parents take time to be with their newborns, outcomes are better for the children and families." He continued: "Every day things are getting a little more real for us, and we're excited to start this next stage in our lives."

Mark announced that he and Priscilla were expecting their first child together on Facebook in July, and has since gone on to celebrate their upcoming arrival with a surprise baby shower organised by some of his students.
