James Corden teams up with Bruno Mars for Carpool Karaoke: watch trailer

Bruno Mars is the latest passenger in the seat, joining The Late Late Show's James Corden for his famous segment, Carpool Karaoke. In a teaser ahead of Tuesday night's episode, the pair cruised the streets of Los Angeles as they belted out the tune to Bruno's new single, 24K Magic.

The 44-second trailer has already had over 200,000 views on YouTube since it was uploaded on Monday. Fans were quick to share their excitement over the latest Carpool Karaoke guest, with one commenting: "Yesssss.. this is what I'm talking about. Can't wait for it." Another shared: "I have been waiting for this.....Since forever!!!!"

Carpool Karaoke has been a huge hit with viewers since the British television presenter took the reigns as host in March 2015. Bruno is the latest star in an already impressive line-up of high-profile celebrities who have joined the comedian for a drive including Madonna, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Adele, Elton John, One Direction, Justin Bieber and Gwen Stefani.

Bruno, a 20-time Grammy Award nominee and multi-Grammy winner, has sold over 169 million singles worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. The 31-year-old most recently dominated charts with hit single Uptown Funk, which took home three Grammy awards this past year, including the coveted Record of the Year award.

Meanwhile, James has had lots of reason to celebrate after his popular chat show won the prize for Best Talk Show at the 2017 Critics' Choice Awards on Sunday night. The 38-year-old later took to his Twitter page to share his thanks, writing: "So proud of this team! Of this show! Thank you critics who voted for us. It means a great deal to win Best talk show!" He later added: "Crazy list to be on. So proud of the team who work so hard on our show! X."
