Adele has reportedly brought an entire stock of greeting cards - which has her face emblazoned across them. According to The Sun, the 28-year-old surprised shop staff at Peter Jones department store in London's Sloane Square with her actions. "Adele walked right up to the shelf and took the lot. She found it hilarious," a source told the publication. "The staff couldn't believe she was in there, let alone her choice of purchase. She said she was going to send them to all her friends."
The card features an image of Adele with the words "Hello, it's me..." written across the top, these are the lyrics of her record-breaking 2016 comeback single Hello. The British singer broke the record for the most viewed video in 24 hours on Vevo for that track. The hit song totalled more than 27.7 million views on its first day, smashing Taylor Swift's record of 20.1 million views for Bad Blood.

Meanwhile, Adele recently completed the Australian leg of her world tour, which received fantastic reviews. It comes a few months after the mother-of-one revealed she has married partner Simon Konecki. Accepting an award at February's Grammys, Adele revealed: "Grammys, I appreciate it, the Academy, I love you, my manager, my husband and my son – you're the only reason I do it." The couple, who met in 2011, are parents to four-year-old son, Angelo.
During her tour, Adele opened up about the writing process behind her hit song, Someone Like You. In a video obtained by The Sun, she told the crowd: "I could see in their eyes as they were listening to it on their headphones that it reminded them of something or someone and that’s what I wanted to remember. How it was I felt at the beginning of the relationship that inspired that record." She added: "As bad as a break up can be, as bitter and horrible and messy as it can be, that feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on earth, and I am addicted to that feeling. Obviously I can't go through with those feelings because I'm married now. I've found my next person. But that feeling, when you first meet someone and everything about you just feels alive for the first time. I wanted to go back to that."
