Eurovision hopeful Lucie Jones has revealed that Liam Payne and his newborn baby son, Bear, will be cheering her on at the annual music competition next weekend. The former X Factor singer, who will be representing the UK at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev, confessed she was delighted to have his backing - especially since his girlfriend Cheryl coached her on the sixth series of the ITV talent show.

"I actually bumped into Liam Payne the other day when we were doing some radio stuff, he wasn't on my 'X Factor' year but we all kind of know each other because we're from that world," she told 888sport. "We had a really great chat about it, he wished me luck. Although, I was really just really saying congratulations to him about little Bear. I didn't get the honour of seeing any baby photos; we were in the lobby of a radio station so that wasn't going to happen! He seems so happy."

Lucie, 26, was signed by Sony music label after finishing in eight position on The X Factor in 2009. Speaking about the chance to represent the UK, the singer admitted she is a little nervous. "I can't compare it to anything, it's just huge," she added. "I'm trying not to think about that aspect of it too much because I don't want to psych myself out but at the same time you have to be ready for these things. I'm going to try not to think about all the viewers in front of the telly and if I do think about them then I'll try and think about them in their underwear!"

Once the competition is over, Lucie will be preparing to tie the knot with fiancé Ethan Boroian - whom she got engaged to in November 2015. "I just can't [wait] for it, I'm getting married in late August this year and it's just going to be so awesome," she said. "I know it sounds cheesy but it will be amazing for me to have all my friends and family in one place together, especially having such a crazy year and not having the time to properly see everyone and be part of things, it will just be so nice to have everyone in one room all together. We've got friends and family coming from all over the world. We're not going on a honeymoon until next January though."
