The 007 actress may be known for her turns in the James Bond films and Moonlight, but Naomie has always combined her acting career with her philanthropy.
As a patron of the Intermission Youth Theatre, she supports the charity that works with 15 to 25-year-olds to keep them out of prison by getting them involved in drama.
"For young, disadvantaged people, the arts are particularly beneficial because they provide a platform for self-expression, enable young people to gain a wider perspective of the world and reflect back their own experiences, which helps them to feel validated and not alone," Naomie Harris said on her work with the Intermission Youth Theatre.
Naomie spent lockdown helping organise food parcels with the Salvation Army in north London, while she’s also been a celebrity advocate for Save The Children championing women’s and kids’ rights since 2013.
