For Gary Barlow, his milestone 40th birthday will be one he's not likely to forget. The Take that star celebrated by throwing a charity concert at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire.

Star guests were out in droves to see the musician play songs spanning his 20-year career and duet with some very special guests.

At the end of the night the man of the moment took to the stage and told the audience: "Thank you so much for making my birthday so special."
