The X-citement is over for Marcus and co but the friendships live on

It was the series that changed their lives. So it's understandable that the X Factor contestants forged close friendships along the way.

The pop hopefuls, including Londoners Misha B and Sophie Habibis, looked thrilled to be reunited at the series wrap party. Runner up Marcus Collins and Craig Colton were also in high spirits. Their huge smiles were a contrast to the last time they were pictured together off stage – on the night of Craig's departure. Then, Liverpudlian Marcus was in tears because his friend had been sent home. There was no sign of sadness on Tuesday night, however, as the contestants celebrated.

Victorious Little Mix were joined by Amelia Lily,  Kitty Brucknell and Frankie Cocozza – who was fired from the show amidst allegations of drug use. Hosts Dermot O'Leary and Caroline Flack were also joined by judges Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos, on a high after winning the series in her debut year.
