Mollie King led the style pack at InStyle's Best Of Britain talent party on Thursday night. The Saturdays member put her best foot forward as she stepped out solo for the event in a green Marni shift dress that stole the show. The show stopping checked garment was a perfect fit for the singer, letting her perfect pins do the talking. The star can thank the LA sun for her sunkissed glow, where she has been busy filming TV series Chasing The Saturdays with her band mates.

The 25-year-old told the publication that despite her close relationship with her pals, she didn't mind stepping out on her own for the evening. "We're such a tight unit, but it's nice that we can do our own thing," said the star. "It's great to be back in London." One of Britain's finest acting exports also made an appearance at the party. Man of the moment Damian Lewis took a break from his award-collecting spree to spend some time with wife Helen McCrory. Securing two trophies at the Golden Globes, Homeland has taken the UK and US by storm. Swapping his tuxedo for a military style coat and boots, it seems the actor was keen to pay a fashion tribute to the show that made his name.

Sheridan Smith, Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright and Michelle Ryan represented Britain's flourishing acting talent at the party. Sheridan, who showcased a sculpted shape in a figure-hugging bright blue dress, has gone from the West End to the silver screen. The Laurence Olivier award-winner was handpicked by Dustin Hoffman to act in his directorial debut, Quartet, after he was reduced to tears by her performance in theatre production Flare Path. Speaking about the thespian's never-ending talent, the Hollywood veteran said: "I saw her and I just broke down. She took me by surprise. I met her and when I knew I was doing Quartet I called her immediately. "She deserves the be the next Maggie Smith," the Rainman star added.

The party was also a big hit with budding fashionistas and celebrity offspring Tali Lennox and Leah Weller. The models upped the style stakes as Leah looked sophisticated in black bodycon, whilst Annie Lennox's daughter Tali wore a pink patterned coat with clashing faux fur zebra print.

Funnymen James Corden and Jack Whitehall represented Britain's best comedians at the bash. Seen laughing and joking with Doctor Who actor Matt Smith, James opted for a dapper black and white suit for the event, whilst Jack kept his winter woolies on to face the arctic temperatures.

Actress Jamie Winstone and former T4 presenter Miquita Oliver were also in attendance.
