Pippa Middleton's love affair with Wimbledon began when she was a child of eight and attended the championship for the very first time. Fast-forward 21-years and she remains just as passionate about the tennis competition. Pippa was spotted in the crowd as Wimbledon got underway on Monday. She was joined by her brother James Middleton to watch the match between Roger Federer and Victor Hanescu.

Dressed in a pretty blue dress and jacket, Pippa was in high spirits as she enjoyed the on-court action with James, 26. The siblings were escorted to their seats in the royal box and happily chatted to other spectators around them including Denise Lewis and Princess Michael of Kent. Condoleezza Rice was also seated nearby. Last year, Pippa attended Wimbledon with her sister Kate Middleton, an avid tennis fan. Of course, the Duchess is unable to attend this summer as she awaits the arrival of her first baby with Prince William. As contributing editor for Vanity Fair, Pippa recently wrote a column entitled Pippa Middleton's Inside Guide to Wimbledon, focusing on her experiences at the oldest tennis tournament in the world.

Her highlight, she said, was "Queuing from five A.M on 'People's Sunday' in 2004 with my sister for three hours, and getting £35 tickets on Centre Court; my first time ever. "Seats were a free-for-all – and I recall almost tripping over myself trying to get as close as possible to my birthday-twin British hero Tim Henman."
