Pregnant Michelle Heaton shows off her baby bump as she supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Michelle Heaton has teamed up with dance brand Zumba Fitness to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The former Liberty X singer, who underwent a double mastectomy in Novemeber 2012 due to her high risk of developing breast cancer, donned her pink exercise gear and some pink paint as she helped to launch the Zumba Fitness' breast cancer campaign, Party in Pink.Michelle, who is pregnant with her second child, showed off her baby bump as she joined breast cancer survivors and Zumba instructors, Debra Horsham-Batley and Gaye Williams.

Funds raised by organised Zumbathons throughout October will go towards the Zumba Global Research Grant to research breast cancer prevention, an area Michelle is particularly interested in.

The 34-year-old, who rose to fame on Popstars had a double mastectomy after discovering she had a faulty gene that made her susceptible to cancer.

When she announced the news, Michelle also revealed that she planned to remove her ovaries as she was also at risk of developing ovarian cancer.

In November 2012, she had both breasts removed but said that she would wait for another baby before having surgery on her ovaries.

Michelle announced the exciting news of her subsequent pregnancy in August 2013.

"..Yup, myself and @hughhanley are thrilled we are expecting a mini Michelle or Hugh," tweeted Michelle, who is already mother to one-year-old Faith. "This is a very exciting time for us after everything that's happened... Thank you as always for your love & support! Whoop whoop! Xxxx"
