Michael Jackson's family have expressed their anger over Conrad Murray's release from jail at the end of the month. The King of Pop's brother Jermaine Jackson spoke about Conrad's imminent freedom after having his four-year sentence for the involuntary manslaughter of Michael reduced to two due to good behaviour and jail overcrowding. He sidestepped the TMZ reporter's question about Katherine Jackson losing the trial to AEG at the beginning of the month

.

"It's not about the money. This guy's walking this month. He's walking free this month," he said. "He's walking free this month. So you kill Michael Jackson and you're out in two years, it sucks," he said. "We hurt. We still hurt. "The most important thing right now is that we let the world know how we feel about his verdict because somebody's doing business.

He added, "We're very strong people, but we're humans."

A US jury rejected Katherine's claim that AEG should not have hired Dr Murray.

Katherine attempted to hold AEG responsible for Michel's death by arguing that they hired Dr Murray without considering whether he was fit for the job, a claim that AEG denied.

The jury concluded that the doctor was not unfit for the position and that the company had not been negligent in hiring him.

Dr Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011 after giving Michael the overdose that led to his death, while he prepared for a series of comeback shows.

Katherine, who is the legal guardian of Michael's three children, was seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in damages for herself and her grandchildren.

The global pop superstar's sudden passing on 25 June 2009 shocked fans and musicians across the world.

Michael tragically died at the age of 50 after suffering a cardiac arrest during the run up to his This Is It series of concerts in London.

Earlier this month, Michael Jackson's family lost their lawsuit against AEG Live, the promoter of singer's comeback concerts, which claimed that they were guilty of negligence.
