Kim Kardashian has revealed that criticism of her pregnancy body made her feel “insecure”.

“For me, having people criticise what I wore and looked like when I was pregnant – that was hard,” she told vogue.co.uk. “It made me feel insecure so I have tried to avoid the limelight more.

”Kim was criticised for her choice of outfits while pregnant, including a floor-length floral dress that she wore to the Met Ball earlier this year.

The reality TV star, who recently announced her engagement to rapper Kanye West, gave birth to daughter Nori in June and avoided being seen in public for the first few months of her child’s life.

Her baby daughter already has a wardrobe to envy and has been lavished with gifts from designers including Lanvin, Celine and Alexander Wang.

“This is the fun part, right?” said Kim. “Dressing her up and making her look nice. She’s much more stylish than I was when I was little, absolutely.”

Kim, and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe have just launched their new Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy fashion collection. The promotional photos mark Kim’s first return to modelling since the birth of her daughter.

Her sister Kourtney recently told HELLO! that she loved working with her sisters. “There are times when we disagree, but we all respect each other’s opinions and ideas,” she said.

The famous sisters are not afraid to give each other an honest critique of each other’s outfits. “We’re definitely honest with each other,” she said. “If your sisters can’t tell you that you look ridiculous, who can?”
