In April 1990, Julia Roberts moved in with her Flatliners costar Kiefer Sutherland.

"We're together all the time," the actress told USA Today. "We work together; we're in love with each other. That's a life. You can't ask for more."

The following year, the couple announced their engagement with a wedding scheduled for 14 June, 1991. But three days before the marriage, Julia called off the engagement reportedly because Kiefer had been having an affair.

On what was supposed to be the wedding day, Julia flew to Dublin with Kiefer's one-time friend, actor Jason Patric. The pair started dating but broke up in 1992.
