David Beckham is usually spotted at basketball or football matches with his three sons, but on Saturday the former England player and his mum Sandra spent the day together at Wimbledon.

The mother and son sat side-by-side in the Royal Box as they watched two-time Wimbledon victor Rafael Nadal play Mikhail Kukushkin on Centre Court.

The father-of-four looked dapper in a beige blazer and black trousers while his mother was similarly dressed in a cream jacket and a black top.

David and Sandra were joined at the highly anticipated match by a host of famous tennis fans including Olympic gold medallist Victoria Pendleton and her husband Scott Gardner, rugby player Chris Robshaw, former footballer Sir Bobby Charlton and boxers Anthony Joshua and David Haye.

Cricket stars Sachin Tendulkar, Stuart Broad, Andrew Strauss and Phil Tufnell were also among the crowd as were 2012 Tour de France champion Bradley Wiggins and his wife Catherine.

Sandra Beckham wasn't the only famous mother in the Royal Box, Judy Murray, whose son Andy is hoping to win the British tennis championship for the second year running, also enjoyed Nadal and Kukushki's match.
