Noelle Reno, the fiancée of late millionaire Scot Young, has spoken for the first time following the death of her partner earlier this week. Scot, 52, passed away after falling four storeys from the central London flat he shared with Noelle. "I am distraught by the sudden loss of my best friend and ask that you give me the respect and privacy I need to grieve in peace," she said. The American beauty has also since deleted her Twitter account.

Noelle, 30, started dating the property tycoon in 2009, and stood by his side as he went through divorce proceedings with his now ex-wife Michelle Young. Michelle, who has two children Sasha and Scarlet with the late businessman, also spoke of her grief, saying: "I am devastated. I am with my daughters and we have been to hell and back." Scot's death on Monday afternoon comes almost a year after an extraordinary legal fight with his ex-wife concluded at the High Court.

Noelle Reno said she was 'distraught' at losing her best friend

Michelle won a £26million payout, after initially asking for £300million and insisting that her ex-husband was worth billions and had hidden his money. She also stated that she had never seen a penny of it, after Scot declared himself bankrupted by a disastrous business deal in 2010. He was sent to jail for six months last year for refusing to disclose full details of his wealth to the court. Following his death, a spokesperson for the Met said: "We were called to reports of a man having fallen from a fourth floor window at 5.18pm. "The man, who is believed to be in his early 50s and was pronounced dead at the scene. His death is not being treated as suspicious at this time."
