Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden caught sharing passionate kiss on basketball date

They married in a secret wedding ceremony just over three weeks ago, and now Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are sharing their happiness with the world. The loved-up newlyweds had a passionate kiss as they sat courtside at an LA Lakers basketball this week – before discovering that the moment had been caught on "KissCam" and projected onto the big overhead screen for all to see. Not that they minded. Cameron, 42, and her husband, 35, laughed and smiled together as they realised what had happened, before cuddling back up to watch more of the game.

The KissCam usually singles out couples, encouraging them to pucker up for the camera. No prompting was needed for Cam and Benji to put on a PDA in this case, however.

Their body language showed just how in love they are. The actress looked totally smitten as she leaned in to Benji, sitting with her arm looped around his as they enjoyed their date night together. It was the second time that husband and wife have been seen together since quietly tying the knot at the start of the year. On Sunday, they were spotted at the Four Seasons Hotel in LA, after meeting up for brunch with Benji’s twin brother Joel Madden, and his wife Nicole Richie – who originally set the couple up.

Cameron and Benji were married in an intimate ceremony at the Annie actress' Beverly Hills estate on 5th January. Confirming their happy news in a statement, the newlyweds said they "couldn't be happier to begin our new journey surrounded by our closest family and friends". Among the 90 guests invited to the romantic evening ceremony were Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow and Drew Barrymore, who acted as a bridesmaid. "It was a big wedding, but they still managed to make it feel very personal," a source told People. "Only their families and very special friends attended. "It all felt very down-to-earth and sweet. Guests arrived smiling and almost seemed giddy. Everyone was excited to be a part of the wedding."
