Kim Sears' face was a picture as she watched her fiancé Andy Murray compete in the Australian Open semi-final. The tennis champion stormed to victory playing against Czech Tomas Berdych, marking the fourth time Andy has reached the final.

His dedicated fiancée Kim, who regularly travels around the world to support her long-term love, was gripped by the action at the Thursday match.

While the pretty blonde usually turns heads for her chic and well-put-together style, Kim – who sported a patterned black blouse and chequered scarf – drew glances due to the range of emotions she was displaying during the nail-biting match.

Her name immediately started trending on Twitter when TV viewers at home witnessed Kim's varied range of facial expressions, which went from looks of distress to tension to anger. As Kim beamed and fist-pumped the air, her new accessory could clearly be seen on display. Her sparkling engagement ring, which she received last November when Andy popped the question, is estimated to have a value of £150,000-200,000.

Following the match Andy was questioned about Kim's use of strong language during the match. He sprung to his fiancée's defence, telling reporters: "In the heat of the moment you can say stuff that you regret."

Throughout the tennis tournament Kim has been at Andy's side, watching every match and making no secret of her pride in him.

Andy Murray has said he will wear a morning suit or traditional kilt at his wedding

After the match Andy was asked by one interviewer if he would be wearing a morning suit or kilt at his wedding, to which the Scotsman replied: "I think I'm going to have both options and see what I feel like in the morning when I wake up."

When quizzed further about whether he would be "freeballing" – that is foregoing underwear – a mortified Andy said: "Exactly", before trying to make a quick exit. "I've got a match to play in a couple of days, can I go now?" he added.
