Married life suits Amber Heard. The 28-year-old actress looked flawless as she stepped out to a Tiffany & Co event on Wednesday in New York City, turning heads in a pale bronze dress that clung to her willowy figure.Amber – Mrs Johnny Depp – made a statement with the slinky silk number that featured thin spaghetti straps. Her neck, wrists and ears were adorned with beautiful jewellery and she carried a sparkling clutch bag. The starlet wore her long hair loose down her back and completed her look with deep red lipstick.

Two months have gone by since Amber married Johnny in a private civil ceremony at their home in LA. Now, the high-profile couple are back at work; Amber's new film, When I Live My Life Over Again, is set to premiere at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival - which kicked off on Wednesday - while Johnny is set to resume filming Pirates of The Caribbean 5 in Australia next week.A number of leading ladies attended Tiffany & Co's 2015 Blue Book Collection celebration dinner on Wednesday. Reese Witherspoon was in high spirits as she arrived for the invitation-only event, smiling broadly as she headed into the venue.

The Oscar winner, 39, chose a navy blue dress that featured frill detailing and an asymmetric hemline, and wore a striking Tiffany's pendant around her neck. Inside the soiree, she mingled with Amber and fellow actress Olivia Wilde, who wowed in an ornate white Marchesa gown.There was a surprise in store for Reese earlier on Wednesday when she stopped by Tiffany's flagship store in New York – the same building that featured in the proposal scene in her 2002 movie Sweet Home Alabama.

Reese was transported back to the scene in the film in which Patrick Dempsey popped the question, when a store employee got down on one knee to recreate the moment.

Posting a picture of the 'proposal' on her Instagram, Reese wrote: "Um. This just happened. @Tiffanyandco just surprised me with a #SweetHomeAlabama moment in NYC??!!! Where magical moments happen. #Pinchme #NotYourAverageWednesday!"
